Dosa Batter / Dosa Pindi

 
 

Ingredients

1 cup Black Gram / Urad Dal
1 1/2 cup Rice
1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
1 1/4 - 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  1. Wash both Rice and Urad Dal seperately.
  2. Put Fenugreek Seeds in Rice. Soak Rice and Urad Dal seperately for 8 hours.
  3. Now remove water from Rice and Urad Dal. Grind Rice first without any water.Then add water a spoon every time until it becomes a smooth paste. Then add Urad Dal and salt. Grind it to a smooth paste.
  4. Add water to bring it a consistency where you can pour batter and can make Dosa on a pan.
  5. Leave this batter for 8 hours again.Now batter is ready.
