Ginger Tea


Ginger Tea is very good for health. It improves digestion, reduces stomach disorders and nausea. 

I had Ginger Chai  many times but first time I had Ginger tea at a very famous Thai restaurant in Johannesburg. Since then I have been having it regularly. Ginger Tea is the simplest recipe I have ever made. You can increase or decrease the quantities of ginger and honey to your taste.

3 cups of Water
3 teaspoon Ginger pieces
3 teaspoons Honey

  1. Clean Ginger and peel the skin. Cut Ginger to small circles or pieces. In a sauce pan, boil water along with ginger pieces for 20 minutes . Keep the lid while boiling to preserve the aroma of ginger.
  2. Remove from heat, strain it into a tea pot. Let it sit for 5 mins. and then add Honey. 
  3. Enjoy it anytime.
