Bitter Gourd Fry / Kakarakaya Vepudu

 

Ingredients

4 Young Bittergaurd
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp oil
  1. Outer rough skin is very bitter.Peel it off.
  2. Cut bittergaurd to thin circles.Add 1 tsp salt to these mix it well and leave it for 20 mins. Squeeze out the water. This removes biiterness even more.
  3. Heat a pan, add oil and then add bittergaurd, fry for 15 mins.
  4. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp chillipowder.Fry for 5 more miunutes. Eat with Rice.
  5. Eat with Rice.
