Pita Bread Sandwich with Vegetables and Mayonnaise



The first time we had Pita Bread Sandwich at Dubai Airport . It was full of grilled vegetables and Mayonnaise. My kids liked it so much, they started asking me make it for their lunch boxes. I am very lazy to grill the vegetables in the busy mornings so I made it very simple with fresh carrots and lettuce. It tasted good.

This Quick and easy to make sandwich has also became my lazy mornings breakfast. Try it .




(Makes 4 Sandwiches)
2 Pita Breads  
1 cup Carrot pieces
1 cup Lettuce Pieces
3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
Salt as needed
Black Pepper Powder as needed


  1. Cut Carrot to small pieces. Tear lettuce to small pieces. The colour of lettuce changes if you cut it with a knife, so tear it. Add mayonnaise, salt and pepper to it. Mix it .
  2. Cut Pita bread into halves. Pita bread opens up like a pocket.
  3. Heat in microwave oven for 2 minutes or heat it on a pan on both sides for a min on each side or till you see brown spots. Fill it with mayonnaise with vegetables.
  4. Enjoy these easy sandwiches.
